Mr. Nirmal Parik is the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Investments of United Gulf Holding Company B.S.C. (UGH), with 24+ years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, prior to joining UGH, Mr. Parik served as the Head of Asset Management & Investment Banking at United Gulf Bank, Bahrain, where he managed the Investments portfolio consisting of diversified asset classes (primarily in the MENA region) as well as investments with third party investment managers in the US and European markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Parik has worked with several multinational firms in various capacities (in asset management, investment banking and corporate banking) including ING Investment Management (I) Pvt. Ltd., the asset management arm of ING Group NV, Netherlands. Mr. Parik currently heads both Finance and Investments departments at UGH. As CFO he is responsible for overseeing financial strategy, capital allocation, financial reporting and cash flow management at UGH. Additionally, as the Head of Investments, his broad responsibilities include maximizing the value of UGH’s investment portfolio, through strategic planning of investment activities, and post-acquisition activities. Mr. Parik is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance.
