FAQ

India Factoring commits to communicating its decision within 15 days of receiving the completed field survey report and all required documentation. The total time from application to first drawdown depends on the speed of document submission and the complexity of the buyer credit assessments, but our team works to move through each stage as efficiently as possible. Contact us to get an indicative timeline based on your specific situation.

India Factoring provides a complete document checklist in the written acknowledgement issued at the time of application. The checklist is tailored to your facility type and business profile. Generally, you will need to provide company registration documents, audited financial statements, details of your key export buyers, and sample invoices or contracts. Our team will guide you through the full requirements at the start of the process.

Yes. Once your facility is active, you can submit credit limit requests for additional buyers at any time. Each new buyer is assessed by our FCI correspondent in their market, and an approved credit limit is set. Buyers within the approved limit are eligible for prepayment and credit cover. We recommend submitting credit limit requests before extending payment terms to new buyers so that cover is in place before you invoice.

India Factoring will notify you in writing of any changes to the terms and conditions of your factoring facility — including changes to discount or interest rates, service charges, or disbursement schedules. Changes to discount and interest rates are applied prospectively only. Your Factoring Agreement contains the full provisions governing changes, and you will always receive written notice before any change takes effect.
